Community Conversations

You are a valued member of our community and your thoughts matter.

We invite you to join us in an active and participatory community conversation. We want to hear your thoughts on where the community is and where we should be heading. We want to learn from your experiences, understand your concerns, and offer you the opportunity to share your aspirations and desire for change.

You don’t need to be an expert to participate, just someone who cares about your community!

We hope that our conversation with you will be one of many. We are excited to get to know you and gain insight into your neighborhood. We believe through active listening and collaboration we will not only gain a better understanding of the issues but with your help be able to develop long-lasting solutions. You are an integral part of creating change and a lasting impact. Your input is invaluable to our efforts.

We are incredibly grateful to the groups who have invited us to hold conversations with them. The information we have received through these insightful conversations impacts our work on a daily basis. To RSVP to attend one of these conversations, please visit our Events website.

The conversations last about two hours and include six to eight people per group so everyone has a chance to contribute.

We are interested in speaking to businesses, agencies, churches, individuals, and community members in the Konza United Way region of Clay, Marshall, Pottawatomie, Riley, Wabaunsee and Washington Counties. If you are interested in holding a community conversation and would like to learn more, please call the Konza United Way office at (785) 776-3779 or email director@konzaunitedway.org.
