Together, we make our whole region more vibrant and successful. We're working hard to transform the quality of life for all in our region – getting more kids ready for school, more families stable and self-sufficient, and more people healthy. It's not about short-term charity, it's about lasting change.
Together, we can help children achieve academic success that will provide for their futures; we can help families in crisis develop sustaining incomes and we can improve the health of our neighbors.
Konza United Way Community Grants are awarded to programs that are aligned with the Konza United Way funding initiatives of education, health and income that have demonstrated the ability to achieve measurable results.
Our United Way goals are based on extensive study by Konza United Way community volunteers and stakeholders — grantees, donors, civic, corporate and university leaders — and the Konza United Way Board of Directors to ensure maximum impact in caring for our neighbors' health, education and income needs.

- Identify critical community issues.
- Evaluate current United Way funding and possible gaps in meeting the critical issues of our community.
