Strengthening Community Resiliency in our region.

A resilient community is one where everyone can access help when they need it most.
Unexpected crises—like job loss, illness, natural disasters, or family emergencies—can overwhelm individuals and families. Konza United Way is committed to making sure no one faces these challenges alone.

Our Vision:

Our region will be a community where every person can find support, resources, and hope during times of need.

Our Goal:

To increase awareness of available resources and ensure residents can easily connect with services that promote stability, recovery, and long-term well-being.

Strategy:

Helping individuals and families navigate difficult times starts with making information and assistance accessible to all. We work to:

1.) Connect people to help 24/7 through United Way 2-1-1, a free and confidential service that links callers to community resources, including food, housing, health care, crisis intervention, and more.

2.) Promote awareness of 2-1-1 so everyone knows where to turn in times of uncertainty or hardship.

3.) Strengthen partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, and service providers to coordinate support and fill gaps in essential services.

3.) Invest in programs that help residents prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies, building resilience at both individual and community levels.

4.) By empowering people with information, resources, and support, Konza United Way is helping our community face challenges with strength and confidence.
