Community Needs Assessment Results

The Riley County Seniors' Service Center (RCSSC), in conjunction with other social service agencies and community organizations, coordinated a comprehensive community needs assessment for Riley County.
The goals of the needs assessment were to:
1) identify the assets of the community
2) identify unmet community needs
3) initiate discussions to identify possible solutions to address the unmet needs.
It has been more than 20-years since the last comprehensive community needs assessment.
RCSSC contracted with the Center for Community Support & Research at Wichita State University to conduct the needs assessment.
Funding for the project was provided by: Caroline F. Peine Charitable Foundation (Manhattan Fund) Konza United Way Mercy Regional Health Center Riley County Council on Aging Wamego Health Center
